DO’s
•Bernd’s living room AKA till Kemners private skatepark. That means not everyone can go there
- Nice folks only.
• Whether you’re nice enough or not to be allowed going to till’s park, you can find that out at search & Destroy skateshop. And check out the local brands like radio skateboards while you’re at it. At the corner of Oranienstrasse and Heinrichplatz in Kreuzberg.
• Pizza at casolare. That’s Grimmstrasse 30 in Kreuzberg. They’ll treat you like shit, but the food and the wine are superb.
• Cookie’s.always has been, always will be Berlin’s best club. On the corner of Friedrichstrasse and Unter den linden.
• Skatehalle Berlin Revaler Strasse 99 Tor ii
10245 Berlin (tram/s-/u-trainstation warschauer strasse) all necessary information is here: skatehalle-berlin
DON’T’s
•Döner for less than two euros. You just don’t want to do that to yourself. Bad stuff.
• Wintertime. You probably knew that already, but if you didn’t, here’s the clue: Berlin during wintertime is colD.
• Enter crowded subway trains. unless you want to get rid of whatever is in your pockets. If you’re just scared of masses, have a ride on London’s tube during rush-hour first, after that, Berlin will seem like a piece of cake.
•Scroungers. We’re not talking about homeless old folks here, it’s about the deadbeats that actually have a choice. Your choice should be to keep your money (so you can get a proper Döner).
