Holy shit, this was one crazy session. We went to Albina’s one day to shoot some Element catalog stuff and instantly thought that her stair case would have to be skated. It’s inside a block of flats, so we figured go there at night when people sleep so we might get a few goes. Albina, being the great girl that she is, took us back that same night around 2 in the morning. When Philipp jumped down the first time, the whole building ka-boomed and it was pretty obvious there wouldn’t be many tries before someone would either come out or call the milice. So Philipp and JM kept running up and jumping down, and I kept hoping for one make before the whole thing turned ugly. At on point this old man came out in his pajamas and slippers. We all sat down and acted like nothing was going on. He asked if we’d heard anything. “Like what?” asked Albina. “This loud pounding noise echoing through the stair case, you must have heard it, wonder what that was?” “Nope, didn’t hear a thing” Albina said and the guy went out the door to have a look if there was something going on in the street. After a while he wandered off back up stairs and we went back at it. A few tries later Philipp rolled away from a kickflip. Then we got he boot. Jean-Marc got robbed off the sw heel he was trying. It’s a shame, I have a perfect photo of it, but I doubt that he’ll ever fly back to Moscow to that block of flats again to land it. I think Albina moved away years ago. She’s going to be a mom soon.
