Eniz, what are you up to?
Just at the shop, watching Let’s Do This. Guzman’s part is on, watched it twice already. He’s the best skater in the world. He doesn’t even have to do anything, just charges around in a bomber jacket, like he’s got this windbreaker and some Dickies on and he’s just barging, so sick.
What’s on your mind for today, you got any work to do?
Nah, none of that. I’m going skating [at the park], yeah, but I’m not working [there] today. How’s the photo for this, is it the fisheye one? I haven’t even seen it…
Yeah it’s fish. Did he shoot it tele as well? I like the fish though.
Yeah, we shot it telemark as well. You know that Dominik [Dietrich] took a nosegrind on that thing? It’s absolutely insane to do that. Insane… He’s regular, so it’s a front nosegrind. He landed that before me, so I was asking Antton if there’s any point in shooting a lousy chink on it after Dominic just completely shut down the spot. Antton was like, it won’t be used until later in the spring, so we’ll get this out before that.
Hey, I thought you were supposed to be in the army now, what happened with that?
They just gave me the class E papers [classification useless –Ed.] completely free of charge. I don’t have to go as long as we’re at peace.
How come?
Because my knees are broken, both of them—according to the doctor anyway. Never bothered me, but I’ll take class E any day. Can’t tell you how stoked I am.
So we just need to hope Finland doesn’t go to war.
They just told me they didn’t need me there. I’d be too much of liability for them, in case something happened to me. The doc told me to stay away, basically.

Any plans for the next couple months?
We’re going on a trip with Emerica…to, uhm, you know that photo Mika had, front nose on a bank to rail that you took?
Gran Canaria?
Yeah that’s it. I lost all my emails yesterday for some reason, I logged in and they were gone. So I haven’t got a clue right now. But that’s in February.
What about the Volcom house in Bilbao?
Yeah I don’t know. Dino [Simo Mäkelä] and I were just talking about that yesterday. We went to sign our contracts and he was saying he’s going to the US for like two months. He’s going to the Tampa AM and then to San Jose, cause he’s on flow for Enjoi now. So I think after that maybe he said something about Bilbao.
Am I going to see you in Estonia in a couple of weeks?
Yeah, I’m going. It’ll be sick. I’ll try to bring you the Happy Hour video. See you there!
