Hello Julian, how are you?
Hello, pal!

So, all deep in nappies?
Yeah, everyday! [Laughter] It’s heaven. It’s so nice, we’re always home, really cocooning, trying to learn about the baby, keeping quiet, and its really nice!

What’s new in Barcelona?
Well, obviously, I’m not skating too much, but the Antiz gang is in town, and they are skating. They’re happy to see that the Antiz legacy is happening! And it’s nice and warm… I just went to buy a new washing machine, as ours died recently, and I’m passing in front of MACBA right now, and there are so many people!

I thought they were giving away tickets like crazy?
Yeah, it was a real bust for a bit, but people are skating here again, and its been mellow. It goes in cycles, actually… Furones got his board confiscated while he was just rolling across the plaza, super slow… I think it has to do with some local politics. Sometimes, they just lose it, but we don’t want to know why! [laughter] And you, what’s going in Paris?

All good. I’m just back from shooting with Claude Levy and Julien Jacquart. It was a sunny day, so we took advantage of it. Apart from that, its winter…
How are all those new skaters in Paris?

Oh, they’re all super mellow. Since there isn’t much going on here, everybody does his own thing, but in a really good spirit.
Great! Pfff, there must be at least 120 skaters at MACBA now, skating everywhere. But there are so many people sitting you can’t even skate the ledges [laughter]! It’s really impressing… And I don’t know a single soul, which is more impressing [laughter]! Oh, no, here is Lisa… And Julien Deniau! All good, then, locals! So you wanted to do some sort of interview?

Oh, I just finished it now.
Damn, you’re fast!

All right, let’s turn this recorder off …
…Then, we can talk about how beautiful our baby is [laughter].
