Joseph Biais is not only a talented enough young man to have earned a Slept On in our issue 50, but he also represent the newest generation of skaters that not only rip, but take it with a grain of salt, not falling for every marketing ploy double chinned business men try to feed us all everyday.
Here are a few things he’s done on his board recently, amongst other fun things. Enjoy!
One of those once in a lifetime spots: backside 360 out of a fun bump.
Last trick landed?
Half cab flip boardslide…
Last trip?
Badalona [in Spain, NDR]
Last stupid stuff you did with the Twins [infamous Paris locs, NDR]?
I can’t recall the last one, but I remember a good one: when we did a barbecue on the ground, in the street!
This new spot in Paris has seen his fair share of free jumping already, but this varial heel flip came easy enough to get noticed.
Last false good idea?
Lending my sun block. I never saw it again!
Last part or video you downloaded?
I don’t download stuff, but I just saw Antwuan Dixon in the newest Baker thing, he’s just incredible!
Ledge action with a bit of bank mastery: switch 180 5-0 revert.
Last song or album put on your mp3 player?
Joy Division “Interzone”
Last time you said “last time”?
Last time I went to McDonalds!
Last good slam?
At the Premia skatepark, a crack I didn’t see… I hit it at 200 km an hour. I did get knocked out pretty good!
Time your run-up with the flows of commuters, ollie past the stairs, over the rail, and land into the bank. Easy enough.
Last good spot skated?
All the ones in Montgat [outside Barcelona, NDR]: the one with the giant hips and big banks, and the walls where Bucchieri got his cover.
Last time you smoked crack?
No drugs for me, thanks.
