Pierre is easily the most relaxed and happy person I know. He even smiles when he’s really upset. If you’ve seen him before, you’ll know what I mean.

I’ve known Pierre forever. When I first met him, he had just learned to kickflip. Four months later, he was taking them down rather huge blocks. Today, these blocks have seen pretty much every trick in the book, Pierre doesn’t care anymore whether to do them switch, fakie, normal, or nollie. He doesn’t care about the spots, either – he likes them all. Curbs, rails, stairs, a manualpad ... If he can skate it, he’ll like it.

The fun he has shows in his skating. But if he has to go home before he was able to pull a certain trick, he’ll be hard to talk to for the rest of the day. He’ll think about what kept him from doing it, and he’ll definitely go back and succeed.

You might not have known it, but Pierre has a life next to skateboarding. If he can’t skate, he’ll play his guitar, write songs, or work with his friends in the studio. He’s a laid-back guy, but once he’s in the mood to party, he’ll go all out. I do hope that you’ll get the chance to see him skate some time, because it’s quite a sight.
