Downtown Lausanne 5th Edition STREET VIDEO CONTEST

Now that the summer season has finally arrived we can leave our indoor skate-parks … The 5th edition of Downtown Lausanne is in preparation and the streets of Lausanne are getting ready to vibrate beneath riders’ wheels closely followed by their faithful cameramen. Out in the open urban jungle they will show how fast and original they are in finding the best spots in town and using their best tricks.

Take 2 … done with amateur material, this year the « Downtown Street Video Contest » 2007 will be equipped with high tech computerized hardware so that each team can produce a film covering its session in the best possible conditions. Participants will be aided by a team of audiovisual producers. Welcome to Hollywood…

At the time of this 5th edition, “Downtown Lausanne” will organize photographs-contest in Skate-Park HS 36. This last will be reserved for less than 18 years. Opinion with the amateurs!

Saturday will be consecrated to filming and competition.  The public and the teams will be able to see each production on Sunday on a large screen celebrating « The 2007 Kings of the Downtown Street Video Contest ».

The weekend will culminate with the awards ceremony in the skateboard queen and roller categories …
