The nice gentlemen at Carhartt are staging an extraordinary event this June: The Pirate Bowl Boat Quake.
The Pirate Bowl Boat Quake is a skateboard challenge. Skateboarders from all over Europe have been invited for this nice event. The event will be a one day (Saturday the 27th from 13:00 to 22:00) skate session in a very special pirate ramp/bowl in Hossegor. At the end of the day, skaters themselves will elect the bests of them. Those lucky ones will bring back home some fabulous treasures!!! (and the other-ones will get some great souvenirs!)
The next day (Sunday the 28th) BBQ and Music will keep going and of course the session too, but treasures will be gone.
Pirate costumes are of course welcome!
To prepare you for the Pirate Bowl Boat Quake we invite you to the opening of Elzo’s Exhibition “AMEN” at the Carhartt Store in Hossegor (48 Av Paul Lahary) friday 26th at 19:30.
The Pirate Bowl Boat Quake is also the launch of the Mental Weirdo Tour 2009!
This tour is launching the “Carhartt & Yama Mental Weirdo Aslyum Series” - a cooperation of 4 skateboards between Carhartt and Yama Skateboards, a hardcore skateboard company based in Austria. The 4 boards are pro-models of skaters that skate both for Yama and for Carhartt:
David Martelleur from Belgium, Muki Ruestig and Ferit Batir from Austria and Patrick Munz from Germany. The boards designed by Elzo will come with a set of 12 stickers, also created by him plus a T-Shirt available in Carhartt stores and Yama’s network through Europe. These boards will be available for all customers in fall/winter 2009.
