Corey Duffel and Roky Erickson collaboration

November 16, 2007 @ 10:00 AM

Foundation pays tribute to Legendary rock n roll pioneer Roky Erickson, with a Corey Duffel collaboration board. Roky Erickson’s band ‘The Thirteenth Elevators’ is attributed with pioneering psychedelic rock in the 60’s and has influenced some of the most famous musicians since including: R.E.M., ZZ Top, The Judybats,The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Cramps and the White Stripes.
Tragically Roky is equally famous for his incarceration in the Rusk State Hospital for the criminally Insane for possession of a single joint and after being subjected to somewhat dubious methods of rehabilitation, Thorazine, electroshock therapy and other experimental treatments, he has been left mentally scared for life.

The proceeds from the sale of the Corey- Roky board will go to the Roger Kynard Erickson Trust fund.
